Chris played at our wedding at the Heron Byre in August and he was brilliant. He covered a huge range of music, keeping guests entertained. Communication was excellent in the run up and he was able to play a couple of songs we requested. Thank you Chris!
Chris recently played during our wedding (ceremony, drinks reception with vocals, and meal) and was fantastic. Leading up to the event, he was very attentive and probably the easiest vendor to work with! His website was very helpful to assist with the music choices, he included our requests and played a lovely selection of music that suited the occasion.
Chris is highly recommended for a wedding. He was so helpful during the planning stages, with quick replies and replying to any questions asked! On the day he was fantastic and delivered exactly what was asked, so many guests commented on how great he was on the day.
Everyone (including ourselves of course) had so many great things to say about Chris. I appreciate how Chris learned new songs for us and it was never a bother. We absolutely loved hearing Chris play music from games and movies that mean so much to us. Even from the beach when we were taking photos, we could hear Chris and were so excited listening to it! My family haven’t stopped singing Chris’ praises. It was such a wonderful day and he did an amazing job. Highly recommend, such a lovely person.
Chris recently played during our wedding ceremony, drinks reception and meal. From first contact to our wedding and afterwards Chris was prompt to reply, helpful, interested in our music taste and ideas, and a true gentleman to deal with. Chris played at our wedding last month and we cannot recommend him highly enough. His tastefully selected tunes created a wonderful atmosphere for our friends and family during the ceremony and drinks reception. Chris played at our wedding on 14th December 2017 at Mar Hall and I can highly recommend him! Prior to booking Chris I found he was so easy to communicate with and prompt with answering any questions I had. On the big day itself, his music added a special touch to the drinks reception and we especially loved the festive tunes which really added to the atmosphere! An absolute professional, don't hesitate, just book him!
Chris played at our wedding on 03 August and did an amazing job. I had asked him secretly if he could play a special piece for when I walked down the aisle, with some minor modifications, and he agreed without hesitation. On the day, Chris played beautifully! He managed to either extend the piece or fade it out just perfectly as I reached the top of the aisle--I was too nervous to notice which. The rest of the day was also fantastic with Chris playing throughout dinner. We didn't have any specific requests, and yet weren't disappointed in the music selection. Overall, 10/10 would recommend booking Chris Connelly for special events.
Chris is an excellent wedding pianist. His music was quite lovely and he covered a wide range. I was especially delighted to hear some of my favourites such as "God only Knows", "Polovetsian dances" and "Eyes on me", which he learned to perform upon our request. His service is very professional and friendly. I will make sure to recommend Chris for any kind of celebration which is in need of tasteful and great variety of piano music.

Chris played and sang before dinner at our daughter’s wedding. He had a super range of music and really added to the celebration. He was really helpful during the preparation stages and played so well. It was lovely to have him at the event and I would definitely recommend him. The whole process of booking him and having him at the venue ran smoothly and his playing was much appreciated by our guests. Thank you to Encore and Chris for making the the booking so easy and the playing so splendid.

Chris was absolutely fantastic at our wedding, all our guests loved the music and have said to us how good he was before and during the ceremony. Would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking to hire a pianist. He was so lovely as well, taking time to come and speak to us before leaving which he didn’t need to do at all. Faultless from start to finish. Chris perfectly judged the occasion and played through our selection of music with quiet professionalism. Chris was punctual, smart, tidy, discreet and, most importantly, superbly musical. Although providing essentially background music, Chris’s playing was sensitive and note perfect. It’s my sincere hope that we can book Chris again soon for another event. I certainly would not hesitate to do so.

Chris was fantastic. He took time to understand what we wanted and make sure we had the right selection of music. He played beautifully, even while receiving “help” from fascinated small children. Every single one of our guests made a point of saying how much they enjoyed his playing. He was very easy to work with and I wouldn’t hesitate to book him again.
